Nursing Care
How to Prepare Your Home for Nursing Visits

Good nursing care does not require a hospital room. It does benefit from a clear, calm space where the nurse can work safely and the patient can rest.
Choose a well-lit area with a firm surface for sitting or lying down. Keep recent prescriptions, discharge notes, and a list of allergies nearby. Store medicines in one place, out of reach of children, and note the last doses taken.
Pets, noise, and clutter can distract from clinical work. A short conversation with the nurse before the first visit about access, parking, and household routines goes a long way.
These small preparations help every visit start on time and stay focused on the patient.
